The West Pennine Myeloma Support Group meets in Bury but welcomes members from Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
The group provides emotional and educational support for people with myeloma together with their carers, family and friends.
Anyone is welcome to attend any of the meetings at the Fusilier Museum and if you have difficulties in getting to the meetings you can contact the Support Group to see if lifts can be organised.
At most meetings there is a guest speaker either on aspects of coping with myeloma or general interest but there is always time to chat over tea/coffee, share experiences and give each other practical and emotional support.
West Pennine Myeloma Support Group usually meets from 1.00pm – 3.00pm, approximately every six weeks.
2022 Meeting Dates:
In addition to these meetings, the Group also meet on Zoom, and organise social trips. Please contact the Support Group Leaders for further information.
Fusilier Museum is in the town centre, near the Town Hall.
There is on-street parking nearby, which is free if you are a Blue Badge holder, and it is only a few minutes walk from the Bury Interchange. We will ensure there is someone to direct you at the museum.
